My faith is sufficient for my every need,
God provides without my having to beg or plead.
I know my faith is more than sufficient;
it was given of God and He's very proficient.
This faith's been tested so many ways,
God always provides when I take time to pray.
Yet there is one fact I mustn't forget,
we each have some unbelief that makes us fret.
Unbelief brought on by our erroneous thought,
or even facts we were mistakenly taught.
Unbelief doesn't banish our faith,
but as to the answers to prayer we may have to wait.
Wait until the unbelief can be erased,
before the fulfilling of our requests is in place.
In the Holy Word I found to my relief,
where a father asked Jesus to help his unbelief.
That verse was comforting to me,
revealing a believer can face unbelief occasionally.
The fact I periodically experience unbelief,
is not sufficient to overcome me with grief.
I know God always does what's for the best;
I know He'll even get me through these tests
So if per chance you see any unbelief in me,
please lift my name before God prayerfully.
Pray I'll draw close to Him during each incident,
pray I can see my faith is sufficient.
